TOP COP Nomination Form

The nomination are now closed and will reopen for the 36th Annual Awards Banquet in June 2021.

The Law Enforcement and Security Coalition of Hawaii invites federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and private security organizations in Hawaii to nominate one individual to be recognized as their TOP COP for the year. More than one person may be nominated if involved in the same incident.

Individuals should be nominated for their distinguished service during the 12 months preceding receipt of the nomination.

All nominees will be notified of their selection and invited to attend the award ceremony with a guest without charge. Organizations submitting more than one nomination not involved in the same incident will be responsible for the cost of the additional nominee and their guest.

Nominations should be received by September 1, no later than October 1.

The award committee’s deliberations are confidential and all decisions are final.

Nominators are asked to prepare a 500 word essay explaining why their nominee should be considered for the TOP COP Award. Please be as specific as possible and include dates, times, and locations. Please, save your own copy of the synopsis before submitting.

For more than 30 years, the Law Enforcement and Security Award Banquet has been organized to promote, encourage, and recognize excellence in the field of law enforcement and security in Hawaii.
