Sponsorship - TOP COP Hawaii

Each organization may nominate one employee for the TOP COP Award. Once the nomination has been reviewed, the nominator will be notified of the Board’s decision.

The selected TOP COP and their nominator will be invited as guests to attend the TOP COP Hawaii Awards Ceremony at the Ala Moana Hotel located at 410 Atkinson Drive, on Friday, October 17, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am. The nominator’s agency/organization is encouraged to purchase a table or additional seats to accommodate their leadership, colleagues, and other guests.

At the event, each TOP COP will be recognized on stage and presented with a certificate and medallion. A photograph of the presentation will be taken and made available for download on our website.

If an organization wishes to nominate more than one individual, it will be responsible for the cost of any additional seats. Exceptions may be considered for multiple nominees involved in the same incident.

Synopsis

Nominators must submit a 500-word essay detailing why their nominee deserves to be recognized as a TOP COP. Please be as specific as possible, and include relevant dates, times, and locations to support your nomination. Please remember to save a copy of your submission for your records before sending.

Since 1984, TOP COP Hawaii has honored outstanding individuals in law enforcement and security across the state. Our mission is to promote, encourage, and recognize excellence in public safety, both through our annual TOP COP Hawaii Awards Luncheon and our growing scholarship efforts to support the next generation of professionals.
